  The number of treatments depends on the condition being treated, the area being treated, and individual factors. 2-4 treatments are generally required at 4-8 week intervals.

  Moles are abnormal growths that can be, or become, cancerous. Dr. Chavez believes that it is medically irresponsible to treat these lesions without having them biopsied for cancerous changes. We do not offer these services at ClearWaves.

• Do you treat sun damage or melasma?
  
  The Micro Laser Peel, the ProFractional Laser, PPX (PhotoPneumatic Therapy), the Medlite C6, and the PDT (PhotoDynamic Therapy) can all treat skin changes associated with sun damage (hyperpigmentation, etc.) The ProFractional Laser is the most effective for melasma, for most clients. The PDT has even been shown to treat some precancerous and cancerous lesions associated with sun exposure. However, no precancerous or cancerous testing or diagnosis is offered at ClearWaves.
