The Clear for Life Vision...

Clear for Life was developed, in short, to fill a gap. For the past four years, at ClearWaves, we have been thrilled to be able to clear scar-inducing acne and remove tattoos that were often the result of a rash, immature decision during a crisis time in our clients' lives. We have been able to have a small, yet significant, role in helping our clients gain a new start and perspective in life. Clients often cry expressing the hopelessness they feel because of their acne...and other clients cry after we remove a tattoo that evokes distressing memories. Again, we're helping change lives...

But...

The treatments (both acne and tattoo) are expensive, because the technology is expensive. We cannot simply drop the price for all clients, to allow those without a large amount of discretionary income to take advantage of these treatments. This means, unfortunately, that many people who could greatly benefit from this treatment, can't get the treatments, because they can't afford it.

We developed Clear for Life, a non-profit NM professional corporation, to help fill this gap.

Our working model is:

1. Obtain funding for 1/3 of the cost for a treatment package for acne or tattoo removal (moderate to severe acne...visible tattoos)

2. Have the client pay for 1/3 of the treatment cost (to promote personal responsibility, and to assure that the donated funds are invested in clients who care deeply about the treatments, not just any who would take advantage of a "free" treatment)

3. ClearWaves, PC will absorb the remaining 1/3 of the treatment cost (by providing the laser treatments, staff, facility, insurance, and all other costs involved in maintaining a medical office.)
