Description: This beautiful young woman had an abdomen and flank that were far out of proportion to her more slender upper body. She had a difficult time finding clothing that fit her well. She had laser-assisted liposuction under tumescent anesthesia. ClearWaves Medical Laser Group, Albuquerque, NM

Details: Note that in spite of the swelling present just a couple of weeks after the laser assisted liposuction, this client has the beautiful "hour glass" figure that she desired. Her skin is left smooth and regular, with only small incision sites. There is no noted skin laxity ("loose skin") that often occurs after traditional liposuction.

Details: This is the same client from the right. I included in this photo the markings I make on all clients at the time of the laser assisted liposuction, to demonstrate the areas treated. Note how the left and right side markings (comparing with the photo before) are somewhat different. This is due to natural asymmetry in all people, which we try to improve during the laser assisted liposuction procedure.
